Northwind Perennial Farm

Dreaming of a white Christmas at the Lazy Cloud?   Romantic getaways in Wisconsin won’t be complete without time spent at Northwind Perennial Farm for “Christmas at the Farm!”  Northwind is just a short distance from Lake Geneva and will provide a memorable holiday experience in their Christmas shop and barn.  You’ll find one of a kind ornaments crafted by local artists, unique gifts, fresh garlands and wreaths with fragrant branches just waiting to decorate your home!  They’ll be happy to give you great tips on how to spruce up your holiday arrangements!

In the early 1990’s three close friends discovered a small farmstead just north of Lake Geneva.  Through their skills and talents, they have created for all of us a uniquely different destination spot for lovers of nature who may or may not have a green thumb!  With their more than eighty years of horticultural experience, you’ll be amazed at what they have created and are most happy to share with you!  “Christmas at the Farm” is an annual MUST SEE!  Northwind Perennial Farm is open from November 19 through December 12 from 10 AM to 4 PM (except Thanksgiving).  We hope you won’t miss this wonderful holiday experience at the farm!

When you return to the Lazy Cloud, fill your double whirlpool with scented bubbles and enjoy a hot chocolate or cappucino in front of a roaring fire!  Your dream of a white Christmas has just come true!

I recently discovered Northwind Perennial Farm by stopping in the Lake Geneva Visitors Bureau building to find out about how I could get our new business brochures made available to the public. My parents have lived in Elkhorn over 30 years and my mother, an avid gardener, did not even know about it. I have now brought her there and she is going to go back with her senior travel group this summer. It has a beautiful walking gardens as well as many native perennials for sale. I’m glad to see you spreading the word about this great Geneva Lakes location.

Hi Julie,

Please feel free to drop off your brochures at both the Bed and Breakfast in Fontana, as well as the Inn on Highway 50. Both places have areas for brochures for things for our guests to do. We also have 3 ring binders in each room with brochures of things to do.
