Are you fortunate enough to own one of those great cars of yesteryear? Or do you own a custom car? Do you love showing off that classic ride? And if you don't own one of these cars, do you enjoy looking at them up close and personal as you chat with the owner? If so, then this is the weekend to be in the Lake Geneva area.
This Sunday is the 11th Annual "The Cars Time Forgot Car Show", sponsored by the Delavan-Delavan Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
Though the actual event is Sunday, there are plenty of other events associated with the show, that take place all weekend long. Below is a list of some of the activities associated with this event:
It is hard to believe that Mother's Day is right around the corner.
Here at Lazy Cloud, it is even harder to believe that it is April, especially with a very cool start to spring. However both are true! If Mother's Day is sneaking up on you, and you are trying to figure out a way to honor and show appreciation to mom, we have a couple of great ideas to share with you.
This year, why not do something totally different and give her a surprise Mother's Day getaway to Lazy Cloud. Most moms I know are running and racing all over the place, so a chance to unwind, relax and take time to breathe would be a wonderful way to show mom how appreciated she is. There isn't a mom I know, who wouldn't love the chance to relax and be pampered. That statement holds true, whether she is a mom with young children, or a mom with grown children. And when it comes to relaxing and pampering, there isn't a better place to do both at, than Lazy Cloud Lodge.
Imagine a Winter Wedding at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Could you possibly find a more picturesque setting?
The lake, the glistening snow, the wooded hills in the backdrop will leave you and your guests breathless. The accommodations run the gamut from Bed and Breakfasts to spa resorts to five star hotels. You can choose from outdoor or indoor ceremonies at many of the facilities, and parties can range from two to as many as several hundred. Catering options cover the entire spectrum from BBQ to caviar. So get out the planner, mark your calendar, look up all those old friends’ numbers and get busy. You have a wedding to plan!!
